Preston Salon Spa

It had been a couple of years since I had visited Preston as I have just recently come back to town. I have never been so happy to be back! The team at Preston is extraordinary! From the moment I walked in, I was treated like royalty. I was offered a beverage and my coat was taken and every staff member I encountered was so polite. My stylist was no different! He listened to what I wanted and attained the exact look I was going for. My hair feels healthy, looks great, and has a brand new style for the brand new year. Everywhere I go, I receive compliments on my color, cut, and style. Thank you, Preston, for this most wonderful experience. I can't wait to come back again!

As someone who is very particular about what salon I go to and who even touches my hair, I will never go to anyone other than Zach T. at Preston's.

Zach always gives me a great cut that is flattering in a way that's classic but trendy at the same time. Even better is his coloring skills, I am always so impressed with how great he makes me look every time. He's quick but thorough and knows how to make each client look good. Friends have told me that Zach is really great with extensions and up-do's, too.

Make sure when booking your appointment that they don't double book you, I've had this happen once and I blame it on the appointment-setter

What a great facial I had today. The best one I have had since I have been in St. Louis.
They honored an expired Groupon, as they booked up so fast months ago.
Sometimes arriving with a Groupon you can get the stink eye but not once did I get any impression except that I was just another possible client.

The gentleman at the front desk was polite and smiling, very gracious.

My esthetician, Mary, was wonderful.  She was so relaxing, professional, and peacefully quiet.  There was no extractions with the facial, just a btw.  
For some reason my stomach decided to talk through out the whole session.  I kept giggling because my stomach, of which is portly, was FULL and yet still complaining.  Sure I was embarrassed the first time but after the 5th time you would chuckle too. What else could I do? hehe.  I mentioned the inopportune time that my stomach decided to have a conversation with me and she agreed that the stomach listens to no man. hehe. :) 
The products used were Dermalogica and did not upset my sensitive skin.  
The BEST part of my experience there was their was the ZERO pushing of products on me.  When I inquired about the products used on my face, Mary gave me a few samples to try to see if I like it.  What a great experience to have the product do the talking rather then given a sales pitch. I appreciated this the most because I hate the "shake down" that most try to give you as you come to the front desk to pay. 

It is a bit of a trip for me but I'm going to go back for another facial next month. I"m horrible about scheduling & keeping appointments but she is worth going to. 
TLDR:  Pricey but sometimes the price is worth the quality of the experience. It is your face after all, you only have one.. hopefully. ;) :D
Mary is the esthetician you should try to have a wonderful experience.
Parking in the front is treacherous as you have to back out on to the road that has heavy traffic.

I went to Preston Salon a couple weeks ago to have my hair cut and an express keratin treatment. The atmosphere was very cool and relaxed. The staff was all very friendly and attentive. Minerva did a great job cutting my hair exactly as I asked. And the keratin treatment is just awesome! I'm still frizz free and loving it!
